Before founding Auti, I spent ~9 years as an SRE inside the teams that built and ran the systems — across enterprise, health-tech, and AI infrastructure. The patterns I kept seeing — systems expensive to run, brittle to change, and owned by no one — had almost nothing to do with the technology and everything to do with what was put in place before the incident.
Auti exists because good engineering is judgment, not just execution. Working solo and senior gives me the freedom to do the work right: hands-on from the first call, clear accountability, and outcomes that stick after the engagement ends.
I'm based in India and work with companies globally. Every engagement has me directly involved — I do the work, not manage it from a distance. When a problem genuinely needs more hands, I bring in specialists to match.
How I work
The approach is shaped around the problem.
I start by understanding the real problem.
Most engagements begin with a brief scoping call. I want to understand what you're trying to accomplish, what's blocking you, and whether I'm the right fit. If I'm not, I'll say so.
I take it on directly.
You get me on the problem, hands-on — not a hand-off to someone junior. If the scope genuinely needs more hands, I bring in specialists to match; otherwise it's me, start to finish.
I embed, build, and ship.
I work alongside your team — not as a black box. The goal is always to leave your team in a stronger position than when I arrived: better systems, clearer ownership, and the knowledge to maintain it.
I hand off, I don't disappear.
Every engagement ends with documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer. I consider an engagement successful only when your team can fully own what we built together.
What I'm not
I'm deliberate about what I take on.
Not staff augmentation. I don't slot in as a pair of hands to bill. I own the outcome of an engagement, not just the hours.
Not a full-service agency. I work on focused, high-stakes reliability, platform, and cost problems. No brand work, SEO, or digital marketing.
Not volume-focused. I take on a limited number of engagements at a time. That's a deliberate constraint that lets me do the work well.
